As part of The Cultured Pearl restaurant's "Cherry Blossom Beach Fest" The Cultured Pearl Liquor Company - 305A Rehoboth Ave. Rehoboth Beach, DE is having three days of Japanese Beer, Wine & Liquor Tastings March 16th, 17th & 18th, 2017 4 - 6pm. Hosted by Laura Lamprecht of Specialty Wines, Ashlee Reynolds - Bacchus Importers and SAKE Specialist Rachel Fiekowsky, New York Mutual Trading Co.

Sakura Smash

Cocktail Recipe:

Sakura Smash

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz. Tozai Blossom of Peace Plum Sake
  • 6 fresh cherries
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 oz. pomegranate juice
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • Splash of soda

Muddle cherries and mint in a shaker. Add Blossom of Peace Plum Sake, juices, and soda. Serve over ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge and a sprig of mint.

Candy Apple Cocktail

Cocktail Recipe:

Candy Apple

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Momomo peach
  • 1 part apple vodka
  • 2 parts Malibu rum
  • Splash of blue caracao
  • Caramel swirl on the sides of the glass

Ingredients shaken over ice then poured into glass after caramel swirl.

Yuzukaze Cocktail

Cocktail Recipe:

Yuzukaze

Ingredients:

  • 3 parts Choya Yuzu
  • 1 part white curaçao
  • 1 part lime juice
  • Ice cubes

Pour the Choya Yuzu, white curaçao, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice cubes. Shake well, then strain into a martini glass.
